Mikomicon Report

After school, I took a bus and hurried home so that I could get my FIRST EVER SALARY PAY HOSHIT.

Only $42, but the best $42 I’ve ever made DDDDDDDDDDD

Took another bus to CSUN, so I could go to Mikomicon~

Met up with Anilechii, but…we got kinda lost xD

We had no idea which building we had to go to, because, you know, we have never been on that certain college campus D:

So we called our friends to see which building we had to go to and whatnot and we eventually found it after about 20 minutes of searching…

Here’s some pictures I took during the tangent:

Sat on a bench in front of a fountain trying to find out where we were supposed to go.

The campus is hugeeeeeeee.

Pretty self explanatory.

Finally found it at the Grand Salon, got our registration passes, and just kinda hung out in the exhibit hall…for an hour and a half.

We were looking around a lot, and there weren’t a lot of people I guess because it’s a Friday…

The first thing I got was this:

I…don’t know why. I was just so…”H-HOLY CRUD I MUST HAVE THIS FFFT” in my head.

Impulsive buyer, I guess? xD There was another one, with Chibi on it and the color was like an emerald green, but I like pink better xD

There was also some Sailor Moon cups or mugs or something.

I couldn’t tell since they were in a box but they extremely nice lady told me what was inside.

This is now occupied by my Hetalia cards I really needed something to put them in, and what better else than THIS?!?

Anilechii got some Naruto pins I think.

Saw some freakin’ awesome artbooks, WHICH I PRACTICALLY DIED OVER, but I was too poor for them *sob*

And thennnn I found this:

I was…shocked. I was looking through the shitajiki…and I found Land of the Blindfolded. I jumped at it.

I literally glanced at it, and asked the guy at the table if I could have it while simultaneously staring at it and taking out my wallet.

I just…just really really really really love…this manga…or anything by Tsukuba Sakura for that matter…

After this, we drifted into the other side of the hall, which was the artist’s alley, and I found someone selling Hetalia fanart stuffs

But I was like “UHH BUT I DON’T WANT TO WASTE ALL MY MONEY TODAY MAYBE TOMORROW” (or something like that)

So instead I got a Neku name badge-thingy xD I put it on my lanyard, which I left in Anilechii’s car…Damn it D:

Come to think of it, all the name badge-thingys I buy are all of Neku…(Anime Expo cough cough)

Next, we waited like, 10 minutes to get Anilechii a shirt because the lady at the table was counting Pachinko balls. Yes. Pachinko balls.

The reason being she had a Pachinko machine and would let people play it and pay for stuff with the balls they won xD

It was cool, but I didn’t play it, and the shirt Anilechii wanted was only in one size, so she got a Byakuya phone strap instead lol.

After that, we went to the Toy Mandala table, and I wanted this mushroom hat. It was like $16, and Anilechii wanted to get 2 hats, but I was like “Let’s look around and see if we want other stuff before we waste all this money.” We got 3 pins from Toy Mandala, a Sasuke pin, a Kon pin, and a Nausicaa pin The dude at the table…he was…weird…like…forceful…and stuff…It was awkward…and stuff….

I’ll take pictures of them later.

Nexties, we went to the Smorgasbord/Atomic Boogaloo table, and I got a button-thing Here:

While I was waiting for her to be finished drawn of, I went to the other side of the hall and got some ultra neat Di Gi Charat pens and a pencil

I really miss Di Gi Charat…

When I bought these, Anilechii still wasn’t done getting drawn so I waited a while…

And then it was done, and we looked at it, and we were like “HOSHIT THIS IS THE AWESOMENESS AWESOME”

Seriously. I think she’ll put that drawing up soon. Dahveed is officially one of my heroes.

Okay so uhh. What happened after. Drifted around before finally deciding to go outside and check what panels were going on.

None, so we decided to watch Kuroshitsuji, but we couldn’t find the Video Programming room. DAMMIT.

So we watched cosplayers, you know, do their stuff, but I didn’t take pictures D:

So we decided to go home and blah blah random crap happened where we got picked up by Anilechii’s brother and went to their mom’s friend’s house for some reason and sat there watching her brother and his girlfriend play Connect 4…

Went home, etc. etc. drew Poland and now here I am.
